is there a way to move/delete a lot of threads at once?

Im the admin and I need to know if there is a way I can fast and easily delete or move a whole stack of threads at once?

The only way I know how to move or delete a thread, is to go into it... and do them one by one. Very time consuming and annoying.

sure there is a way,
go into some forum where you want to delete that threads,
and scroll down page, you'll see a link
"you can moderate this forum",
or something like that,
click on it and you'll see options:
delete, move, lock and unlock

the only way i know of doing this is if all the post are in one thread.

say there was and old discussion thread and you have three pages of replies.
and you want them all gone. the whole thread.

then in you mod tools just click delete and the whole thread with all replies/post with in it will be deleted.

now you can also move it to the basket.. or if there are only like 4 or 5 that you want removed but the rest to remain. then you want to split the topics. in your mod tools again. but know check off the boxes you want to split. never leave a shadow. then after you split them it will ask what you want to do with them.. choose what you want to do and thats that. BUT NO SHADOW.. LOL

now merge is the same way. whether it's 1 or 10 check off the box of the post you want to merge then move merge them in to the thread you wish too. you will see how it works when you do it.

but never leave a shadow.. that will move,merge or split all the post ware you want them. but leave them in the original place as well. so never leave a shadow.unless you want to have to go back and do it again.. bla.. bin there done that.. it's a pain...

now if you have diff post in diff threads all through out the forum.. then no you have to do them all one thread at a time.there's no way around it. you just have to mod the best you can and do this as you go along so it dose not get to backed up with unwanted or unnecessary post or threads

so hope that's what you were asking.. lol i think it is. i just explained the mod tolls a Lil for your so you understand if they are multiple post in one thread that you want removed deleted etc....

I know how to remove a single post from a thread, move a thread, all that - SINGULARLY

BUT i want to move a whole heap of THREADS at the same time. Or lock them all at the same time.

I will try as Luka said,... because Im sick of doing everything one by one... unlike with V-Bulletine, you can select check boxes beside threads and do what ever yu need to do, to many at one time!
