hide members

I want only me(admin) hide my online states. And other can or can't that i will decide. How to do that. pls explain.

just go into your administrator group select hide and hit save.

now if you have other admins and you still want them to be seen.
then create another group called administrators give them there same color and add them to the group.

but now still keep them in the original admin group or they wont have there admin permissions. placing them in the new group will not effect there admin status so long as you dont take them out of the original admin group. your just adding there names to the new group.

that's it.

I don't think there is any way you can remove the option for members to hide their online status.
what you CAN do is make a rule for your forum and post it stating that Hiding Online Status is forbidden and you will change the members profile if they are found to be hiding.
then you just have to do it.

maybe this should be suggested in the suggestions forum so as to make it in next line of updates

sorry i thought you meant hide you as admin user name..
actually i think there is a way you can hide your online status. but i might be getting it mixed up from another forum i run.. one sec.

yes you can real easy.
go to user/groups do a search for your name.
click on your name and scroll down to ware it says hide online status.
click yes hit save and that's it.

I already know how to hide my online status.
I still think Unknown wants to know if there is an OPTION to disable users from USING the hide your online status. though i could be wrong. maybe Unknown will come back and clear up what he wants.

Let me clear you all. I saw my assiatent admin(one of my forum legend) Showing online in topic(beside) but not seen in home page (who is online) either in profile.

yea you can hide the groups legend by what i said the first time.
just go to user/groups click on groups go to the group s you want hidden and select hide and click save.

what stats do you mean?
you can always take members list out of your navigation bar. that will prevent other members seeing members stats. by doing this go to user/groups then special rights.
then select settings as you want and hit save.

but if members go to another members profile it will tell them what is in there profile. such as last login,post count,age etc....

as far as changing members online status and profile options.

or you can change just there online status the same way you done yours. you have to go into admin panel search for the user name you wish to change of the online status, click there name and select it in there profile and click save.

i'm not sure if you can take it out of there profile all together? but most likely you can
