guys i just found out about editboard i currently have my forums with aceboard.. so i was wondering if i could move the whole database of the forum i currently have with aceboard and put it into editboard, this way i wont lose all the past posts.. soo is this possible?

To answer to your question : No, it's not possible to import or export database on editboard mainly for security reasons, sorry.

Whoa, talk about an extremely old topic...

There are many things that relate to your forum's name. What are talking about? The one on the internet tab, the one on the homepage or the forum address?

How do you change the actual NAME on the address so people who have bookmarked/registered/defamed will not come back. That's all I'm looking for here. Its become unpleasant for my friend and we want to change it before things get worse.

There are two ways to change your domain:
