I have about 20 groups, each with a mod. In some of them, Admin was the moderator. Now, I have changed it to someone else, which went just fine. However, it won't let me delete admin from the group. When I click to remove admin, it says that it did it successfully, but admin is till in the group. Any ideas?

Go in the navigation to "groups".
Then in the group with the Admin and click on the boxes in the column "Select".

Click on "Remove selected".

Actually, I beleive the Admin is defaulted into the forum. So, I guess you can't change/delete it.

as i know you cant delete the group moderator until you put other name to be the group moderator then you can delete admin name

About the possibility that I have mentioned, it went for me, actually. I used a German forum, from forumieren.com.

I have some groups where the admin is not listed as a member. I have one group in particular, where the admin is NOT the moderator, is a MEMBER of the group, but I can't delete the admin from the group.

Consequently, the admin keeps being listed as the color of the group I don't want it a part of.....grrr....anything....anyone???

go in to your site log in as admin but no need to go in the admin page

go down to the ggroup your wanting to come out of and then do it from there that should work as long as your not the mod of that group

if your a admin that is the mod of a group then go in to your admin page go to where the groups are made change the mods name to some one you want to run that part and then save then go back to your main page and so the same as i said at the top of this post hope that works

yeah i know it should work Beta but it don't itd did work about 6 weeks a go but i found the same problem so i worked it out the other way and it works just fine

i take it this post is solved now so can some one close it
