First topic message reminder :



Its time for you ... yes you the members of forumotion, to help us. Our avatar gallery is seriously in need of a make over, with so many helping hands on the forum why not ask the members to do something??

The theory is simple... we need 30 new avatars for the avatar gallery. The graphics staff and moderation staff of forumotion's forum of the forums will be responsible for half of the avatars and the other 15 are member made.

Its time to take out your Photo.net and your GimpShop applications out of the closet and onto your monitor. We are looking for avatars with a forumotion feel... so we want greens and blues and oranges.
Everybody participating is entitled to download a resource pack which I have specially prepared for you guys. The resource pack consists of 4 images... two of them are the green monster, all redesigned by me. The other 2 images are a surprise... they didn't make the cut for the forumotion shop... so maybe they'll come to use here.

Every avatar has to be 150x200 pixels ... if you don't match these specifications your art won't qualify for voting. Your avatar has to contain at least one image from the resource pack... twist it and turn it how you wish as long as the forumotion accent is in the avatar.

the vitals in a pill:

Avatar size: 150x200 ONLY
at least 1 resource image must be used
We need it to use forumotion colors and style
Due date ... 2 weeks from now the 11-11-2008
max 3 avatars per member
No animated avatars

Contest ends 11-11-2008 ... all entries will be judged by the stunning staff of forumotion's help site.
The top 15 avatars will make it along with professionally made avatars of the gfx staff to the avatar gallery.
So in general your reward is having your avatar featured on the avatar gallery, so everyone can use it at any time.

wow cool avatar's, but i see no point. i thought this was a place to get help, not a hangout to call home to make money off of or whatever everyone else's plans are.

i personally come here when i need help or help with someone and never can get it because of crap like this thats pointless. i dont see many even using these avatar's to begin with when most are going to use their own. maybe im just missing the days like 4 or 5 months ago when people could get help and not have to wait weeks, months, etc just to get something taken care of. im finding forumotion more worthless than helpful right now and seek the help forum for HELP that i can never get.

RCMZ you are obviously missing the point.
This is a fun and free contest to change the avatars in teh avatar gallery of this site. The current avatars haven't got anything to do with forumotion so we decided to change it.

Members who have time and wish to participate can. This has nothing to do with the way support is being done on the forum.

I really don't like your attitude, your post has been reported by a member, and you are posting senseless posts and using bad language. I issue you with your second warn. I'd watch the thin ice you are skating on.

maybe I'm wrong but why do i keep feeling that ur trying to get ur ones get noticed, in a illegimate way by canceling and then saying this is final, just edit your first post or something!
