Uploading Backgrounds To My Forum?

I'm wanting to make a Hello Kitty forum to go with a site that I'm making. I really want to have a good Hello Kitty background on the site but I don't get how I'm supposed to do that. It would be really helpful if somebody gave me a step by step guide or something on how to do that. Thanks in advance to anybody that helps!

admin pannel, display, pics management, General explore, second pic down upload image upload it it will give you the url, copy, paste in box then there you go
