I was wondering if I could disable some features for some users. I was thinking of making groups to fit in some people.

These features include disabling:
Signature
Avatar

and I want to limit personal messages.


Is this possible? I really want my forum working this way!

You cant disable Avatar all the way you can block the Gallery.
Admin Panel\Display\Defined Avatars\ Then Disable them.

Signature
Admin Panel\Users & Groups\User Options\ Under User Options\ Click what you want

You cant limit Personal Message. You can suggest it, in suggestion section the https://help.forumotion.com/suggestion-section-f29/

Listen here are the facts:

You can eliminate all! You can deictate what member can send PM, signitures, Avatars by clicking on thier names in the user list through the admin panel.

You can set it so only certain groups can use signitures.

Wait I know how to disable PM's and avatars—but I'd have to disable everyones 1-by-1. Is this possible to do with group permissions?

Your not getting what im saying
I dont want PM's disabled for everybody! I added a credit system and I will move them in a certain group when they buy it, I don't want everybody not be able to PM. Fine, I'll just go and do it the hard way.

Go to the Edit part and you can limit your PM's

Allow Signatures : you have the chose to pick what groups you want.
