How do I make a link open in a new window?

I have some links on my forum and I want it to open in a new window.
How do I do this?
Reply as fast as possible, my forum is under construction and I want it up and running soon.

I dont understand. It should be done automatically ? At least on my forum its done automatically, i just checked it. Every link opens in a new tab. And i havent been changing any codes to do this.

No. When you post, I click a link and it just replaces the page. I don't want it doing that.

uhmm ya put that code in your post (edit the capitalized info) and then when someone reads that post and click on it, you will be taken to another page/window.

You need to be sure HTML is turned on in the admin panel and YOUR profile on your site

no you have to make a announcement for them to be sure it is on
