My Turn For Help - How Do I Make A Default Goup?

Ok guys, I have helped a lot of you out recently, now I need something answered of my own.

Here it is:

How can I make a default group for new members who have just signed in?

By this I mean that I want them put automaticly into the group named 'Players' after I activate their accounts.

Any ideas please?

I wanna make my DEFULT group in a registers users group that has their name purple and I have no idea how.xD

Do you guys mean something similar to what forumotion has here?

Err....Sorta.

Demonspike, unfortunately at this time a new member can't be automatically placed into a group.

The way you do that is manually adding them to groups and setting permissions of forums to all but the new members group.

Then how comes it's implemented onto Forumoion, but not into other Forums, that seems a little silly to me.

Gah...more manual labour!
