Solved Widget Problem

Post by Sanket November 16th 2008, 6:36 am

Code:
<script type="text/javascript" src="http://widgetserver.com/syndication/subscriber/InsertWidget.js?appId=027f91a1-eb6a-4a12-9142-6e467b6e8982"></script><noscript>Get the <a href="http://www.widgetbox.com/widget/premierleaguefocuspiczocom">Live Football Scores from around the world!</a> widget and many other <a href="http://www.widgetbox.com/">great free widgets</a> at <a href="http://www.widgetbox.com">Widgetbox</a>!</noscript>

I have this widget from http://www.widgetbox.com/widget/premierleaguefocuspiczocom

When i add this to a widget, somehow it gets cut due to its size. One way is to increase the widget area to 320 pixel which is the default of the widget size. But then the other widgets on my forum look weird.

Other way what i was trying is to make a new html page, but then will this code work? Or i should do something else as well to add it to a new html page "LiveScores"

hello there,
im afraid external javascript can not be resize.

but for your problem there i think there is easy solution for it. If you look closely on there is option for resizing widget on that website.

Look to below 'Get widget' field, there is box to resize your widget.

Widget Problem Untitl14

Just resize it to meet portal block size before click on get embed code Smile

Adiex i tried that, what happens then is as its shown in the image you posted. The widget is basically cut down, instead of resizing it.

Okay guys, i have got two different scripts which i want on a single html page. Side by side to each other. I know how to create the html page, i just need the combined code so that i can have both these things together side by side. Oh yes, "Do you wish to use your forum page header and page footer ?" (Yes)
Can someone please do it?

Code:
<!--  SOCCERWAY FREE script STARTS -->
<iframe src="http://www.soccerway.com/freeresults.php" width="480" scrolling="auto" frameborder="0" height="1500">[Your user agent does not support frames or is currently configured not to display frames. However, you may visit <A href="http://www.soccerway.com/freeresults.php">this link.</A>]</iframe><!--  SOCCERWAY FREE script ENDS -->
Code:
<script type="text/javascript" language="Javascript" src="
http://syndication.soccerway.com/
webmaster/widget/widget.php
?select=3&w=100&competition=8
&px=px&font=arial
&fz=11&lrf=2"></script>
