Posts & Members Deleting!

Alright, I was on my forums about a week ago and I swear I had about 2650 registered members.. Then about 2 days ago or so I looked and it was around 2250 members.. I thought I was just seeing things or something but then today I looked at my forums and there is only 10700 posts, and yesterday there was over 11500 posts.. Where are they going?! It has happened various times but I just thought I was seeing stuff but now I know im not..How can I get accounts and members back?

Hmmm.
well this could be a couple things.
it could be that members are deleting all there post then deleting there accounts?

or if you have any other admins or mods they could be baning or deleting things.

so first make sure to set users not to be able to delete there own accounts.
then if you want you can also set it to ware they can not delete there post either. but you should still keep it so they can edit there post. this way you dont have to fix something every time they might make a mistake.

and as far as staff possible doing this? just check your logs.
it's in security>then Last actions.

so for the first options for members to be able to deleted there accounts.
you can find that in user/groups>then user options.

so that's the only thing i could think of right now.

oh if it's a case of mods or another admin baning the members accounts?
you can always lift the ban and notify them. now if it's a case to ware members delete there own accounts then i'm pretty sure that you can not retrieve that.

but it sounds a Lil strange to me.
it seems like that would be a lot of members doing this. i could see a few here and there doing it. but those numbers seem a Lil high to me?
but then again if it is the case ware a couple hundred members decided to bail and delete there post along with it. it would make sense.
