make more space of code tag

How can I make in templates much space with code tag.On the picture you can see how much is text that is code space.How to make more space?And is`t posible to change code space (white colour) to another.
pls help

Admin Panel\Display\Choose A Theme

2. On the right hand side it should tell you them theme version
