Member's Activation

Admin> Users and groups> User options> New accounts activation

If you want to set them to automatic, press the first circle or use the other circles if needed

I understand what ur asking, but its a tad confusing.
But this is how u fix ur problem.
to get it so members activate their accounts themselvs.

Admin panel>>Users & Groups>>User Option>>choose: "admin", "user" or "automatic activation".

Defination of theese (if need be.)
Admin
The admin(s) of the site must activate he account for the user

User.
The users will recieve the email confirming they have made an account and activate the account them selvs.

Automatic activation.
The account is activated automatically, all they need to do is regester and loggin.

As for having the current users that cant activate their account, I reconmend that u activate their account
To do so
=>Admin panel >>Inactive users>> click on the boxes, and click on activate
Than the accounts are active now

There is no way to take out the actibvate by email option, it's either Manual or Automatic
