Re: I have no idea
That is maybe what I want to do? Can people also copy that button and put it on their sites so it links back to our forums??
If so, the only problem that I have is that I don't have a STYLES ADMIN tab??

Re: I have no idea
Argghh...I am so frustrated (with me, not those nice people who are trying to help me!)
I have created a beautiful button that I would like to put on the forum but I can't figure it out for the life of me. When I tried what you gave me, it gave me a bright blue box with lots of words in it...but not a nice and tidy button. There has to be a way - why can't I figure it out?

Re: I have no idea
IceCheeks, can you use this.
Ask others to add the code after editing the details yourself of the URL of your website & URL of uploaded button image.
Hope this helps.
- Code:
<a href="URL of your website"><img src="URL of uploaded button image"></a>

Re: I have no idea
Another thought is to use your button as a signature that people can put in their signatures when they are at other forums, which their sig with your button will be clickable for people to click to be directed to your site. That is what a lot of forums do.
But if you want them to post it on their forum, just give them the image code with the url to your forum, and they can post it anywhere they would like to post it on their forum.
I guess other than that, I don't know what you are looking for.

Re: I have no idea
- Code:
[url=www.nameofyourforum][img]http://uploadedbuttonimage[/img][/url]
Put this in your signature after changing the name of your forum and the uploaded button image to your own.
Your button will then be clickable but you will have to give the code to your members for them to be able to put it on their forums.

Re: I have no idea
You are thinking about an affiliate button, They take a code and add it to their sote, This code then displays an image which links to your forum
You could also have it so that the code also displays a box with the code in it, Thus everyone eventually has the code and the image link
Its a pretty effective method of advertising
Try this
Basic Image Ticker for blogs etc:

Craig
