HTML Problem?

ok well I am trying to post a music playlist in my widgets but when I post the html when editing the widget and save it, it will just show the html instead of the player? I don't know why, but when I go and post the html in the forum in a post it works and shows. I'm not sure why its doing this, oh and the other thing thats happening to me is that when I want to add a picture or something to the post it will accept html and all but when I want to go back and edit the link in edit mode it shows the pictures and not the html?? I really hope this made sense and if someone could help me.
