Users Total Post Count

We are talking about changing our format slightly. We want new users to not be overwelmed when looking around and seeing that John Doe has 500 posts. Is there a way to turn the post counts off for ALL the users?? or not show a total post count on the forum??

We use phpbb2 if this matters

Hi Ho_shi, Unfortunately there is no way of turning off post counts completely on the forums at this time.

Hi. ho_shi, Go to the bottom of your forum where you will see an option that says 'Administration Panel'. (Make sure it is set to advanced mode.) Click on general up the top, and under 'Forum' , Click 'Configuration'. Down near the bottom of the page you will see 'Misc Options', Find where it says, 'Update the number of posts from a user and set his number of private messages to 0:', and in the text area, type the exact username of the user you wish to update his posts to 0, and select OK.

This should help you out.
