Images get CUT in phpbb3 / invision.. not inphpbb2 !

When images which are of higher resolution than the "post page" width in the forum, the images get CUT ... i.e, only the part of the image which can fit inside the POSTING PAGE would be seen. in case of phpbb3, punbb, invision etc

But in phpbb2, we see that the horizantal Scroll bar also grows if the image size is more.
How to give the same functionality in phpbb3 / invision forum ??

How does phpBB claim phpBB3 to be an improvement? It only took away features from what i know

is there a fix for this yet ?

Move your profiles in posts to the left.

ive tried that but the profiles wont move, theyre stuck on the right, ive already asked for help about that but seems no one has an answer for it so ive reverted back to version 2, it also has better templates..

It is problems like this is why people are returning to version 2.

anybody got a solution to this? been reviewing my invision css and doing trial and error to solve this problem but without any result
