ok i need to shut down a forum for a day or two but i cant find a way to find it. i've done it before but i forgot how exactly. thanks in advance.

Admin panel>General>Forum>Configuration
Forum in construction :
Check it to yes.

actually if it's going to be more then a day then you want holiday.
construction only shuts it down for 24 hours. it's in the same place that Sanket said.

Check it to resynchronize.
