admin > general > forum - categories and forum > click on how to hide the forum Perms beside each forum and change 'view the forum and its messages' and 'write topics and messages' to members > save

I think I remember seeing a shorter way to do this besides manually permissioning each forum so that guests can't see them.
Does anyone know how though?
