registration help

I created a topic, where gasts can reply and read, so i know who someone is before i activate his/her accound. Members have no need to see that topic. Why can't I hide it for members and make it apear only for gasts?

What you are to do, is to go into your administration panel, make sure it is set to advanced mode.

Click on 'General'
Click on 'Categories and forums'

Find the forum that you want only guests to post in, and click permissions (it looks like this )


Then click 'Advanced mode', then go from there.

You are right its not possible, if you give permission to a guest to do something. It automatically gets activated for the members and other groups as well.
