I don't know if this allowed but can you ban someone on one site for what they did on another site or just because your mad at them?

um well they don't have a rule for that,but remember

-if you really need the members i would not
-personally, i think that would be mean to that person
-they may have changed
-you can always send a pm to them just as a friendly reminder

so i wouldn't if i were you - they could change their ip and email then end up really messing with your site!

Its up to you, you are the admin and you make the call on your forum.

Yeah I know but I thought as an admin, you need to show unbiased judgement & you can't ban someone from your site for what they did on another site. Plus, the head admin said he would only unban me if I don't go by the rules so much. Does that even make sense?

Nothing make sense when it comes to power. It's the founder's forum and whatever goes is what goes. You can't do anything about it if they choose to ban you forever. They can do whatever. Sorry man, that's just how these things go.

As a founder of a forum i would think thats very rude....unless you act badly in my forum you wouldn't get banned for something you did in another forum unless it impacted on my forum..um..does that make sense

well, technically you can. go to admin panel >> user and groups.. never mind
they didn't do anything wrong to your forum right? You can't ban someone if he didn't do anything to your forum. Just like in the classroom. You cannot make a student stand outside a classroom because you hate him/her. i advice you to don't but it's still your choice.
