Activation email

My forum is set to have new users be activated by the Admin. Is there a way to alter the message they get before the acct is active?

Your account is currently inactive, the administrator of the board will need to activate it before you can log in. You will receive another email when this has will be done.

Please do not forget your password as it has been encrypted in our database : we cannot retrieve it for you. However, if you forget your password you can request a new one which will be activated in the same way as this account.

No option for this at this time. You can suggest it in the suggestion section.

You can set it to where the registering member's account is automatically activated.

Admin Panel >

Users & Groups tab >

Users - Users Options >

Scroll down a wee bit and select Automatic Activation beside New accounts activation :. Make sure you Save the new settings.

What does the actiuvation by member do ?

Activation by member means that a link is sent to the members email address that needs to be clicked on before the member can log in to his/her account.
