Template Help Empty Template Help

Okay, So I've always wondered what the Templates are...How do they work? I read one where you download them and make an HTML with it, how do I do that? Can some one explain all this to me? I've seen what it does and I like it.....Are they free?

It depends on what templates you are talking about...
You haven't specified what kind.

there are web templates available on the net... they are free to use and you can make an html page using the template.

There are templates as in forum skins/themes/templates
those can be found on hitskin.com

and there is template editing on forumotion... you pay to unlock a few customization features in phpbb2
