Hello,

Id like to suggest that we have a member or staff or someone associated with the technician's or a technician him/her self come over here and clean out our "suggestions for your forums" section.

This would be of benefit because:

1. New idea's for them to minuplate, which in turn would satisfy their users
   
2. there would be less member's suggesting the exact same thing time and time again
   
3. members would know what has been accepted / refused and would know what is "being thought about"
   
4. There wouldn't be an intimidating 40+ pages of suggestion's
   
5. I don't think this has been done before ( so it would be a unique idea )
   
6. Member would actually appreciate this idea

Yes from me, there are alot of suggestions in there and no where near all of them are used any more.

I am suggesting that we somehow get a staff member of ForuMotion (a techie preferred) to come in and tell us weather something will be made in the future and what has been rejected.

because someone like urself, myself, nessa, caihlem, sanket, eximmina, placehold, cannot do it because they dont know what is coming unlike the techies.

So, in short,
im suggesting that a technician of ForuMotion (the guys that make the updates) come over here and tell us what has been accepted and refused from our idea's, and from that we can have a clean suggestions section.

Most technicians don't work on the forum, they configure and edit Forumotion features outside the Support Forum.

Brawly, darren has mentioned in his first post that it could be even someone associated with the technicians.

Not a bad idea.

They work at ForuMotion yes.

I am suggesting they come here are tell us out of our suggestion's what has been accepted / denied.

They can access the english forum, just like typlo and canceo do.

Maybe even rent a techie for a day?

I like the idea so I voted yes. It would be nice if the "Suggestions for your forums" can be wiped clean every now and then just like Jalokim does with the "Graphic requests" and "Self-service - Proposal" in the "Graphic design section".

Well this has also been disputed many times... i've seen a thread like this in the past... the problem is that :
a) the tech staff... don't really speak much...
b) they want to complete something and then launch it... they don't schedule anything... or announce next updates
c) typlo is the closest person to the techies... but not even he is informed
d) they are french...

If the tech staff were more open then a suggestion like this would be likely. But they don't even speak on the french help forum ... so until they start talking nothing is going to change

I can do the same for the suggestions for the support forum if members are interested though. I know it's a meeger consolation price, but it's always an idea

ok, Typlo isnt a techie, I understand, nor is Canceo (or caihlem, as much as we wish) and thats the way we'd have it.
But considering the GodFather is the boss of ForuMotion (and a tech to my knowledge) could he not come and do something??

I dont know what to vote here. It would be nice, but i dont think this will ever come true. If technicians dont even reply much on French forum, there is not much chances that they will come here to clean suggestion area.

Tarogasini, you have to admit it, that it would be a good thing for them to do, right?

Even if they don't do much on the french forum, they could give some support to the english board considering the size of it,
and the amount of good suggestions here.
