Thanks Russel
The suggestion is basically so a tech can come look at our suggestions, say "Yes" or "No" to them - then they can put the solved tag or trash it. Essentially suggesting what your saying
Ina, Great points, but I'm on the contrary.
How many suggestions do you see being Developed in English v every other language?
English: 0 Every other language: Many. Why?
Techs don't look at our suggestions, why? Too complex. Not simple enough - not like every other language - where it is put in the 'accepted idea' pile if more positive then negative votes at the end of 30-ish days. Here, there's o time limit. If there's more "no" votes - it's put in the "rejected" pile.
There's about 50-ish pages of double topics. it would take around 1 week of sorting out, trashing ect then from there, the tech(s) would further decide of the idea's.
7-14 business days I'd say, not 1 month.
I would much rather have 1 tech working on this, leaving the other 4 working on bugs & updates. Surely, this would delay any possible update, but no update as of late has been really what "users" wanted; If they actually payed attention to what we suggested (being the 2nd largest language, after French) then they would have more satisfied users -> giving them more money -> Giving them more staff -> Alleviating the stress on the current 5 or so devs.
If users knew what HAS been suggested and easily able to research it, it would not just reduce the amount of topics, but they would know that the techs DO know of it; just not if it's in development.
The techs are simply put "Develop it release it to the support forum staff for testing, and after 1 week, release it to everyone....THEN fix the bugs"
Basically, listen to the users
