How to move Footer links down more?

Can someone please tell me how I would move these links down a bit? They are RIGHT underneath and almost on top of my forums Icon legend.... the legend at the bottom that indicates which forum has new posts, no new posts and locked. I'd also like to decrease the font size of those links too, the font is too large.

Edit: I'm not trying to get rid of the links, I just want to move them down a bit.

I am having simular problem,in Ie the footer appears under the last widget causing to scroll to see footer

I asked a similar question not long ago.....I could not see the admin or any other info at the bottom of my index page.

I was asked it I had recently installed a new widget on index page (yes) so I removed it and all was fine. I use most of the widgets on the portal page now.

The only thing i could get to work as the following

1. Navigate to

Admin Panel\Display\Colors\CSS Stylesheet

2. If there is nothing in the box add the following code:
2a. If there is something in the box find and replace with the following code:

ul#picture_legend li img, ul#privmsgs-menu li img {
        margin-bottom: 8em !important;
        }

3. Press "Submit" to save

Hi Craig,

This worked perfectly, but only on my Index/home page. If I pull up a listing of posts in any forum, say the link to viewing "today's active topics", then the footer links are too close to the bottom where you can open the drop down menu to browse your forums.

Try changing that code to the following to see if it pushes the bottom down aswell

        margin-bottom: 4em !important;

That didn't do anything, the only addition you added was

Code:

margin-bottom: 4em !important;

Was there something else missing that should have been there to change the class of the other search page elements?

hmmm well the margin-bottom sometimes pushes the bottom of the table down making more room underneath however you can also do this by using padding like such

Code:

padding-bottom: 4em !important;

Thats the only other thing i can think of at the moment, I'll have a look at your forum again once i get back
