Is it possible to sort my news on portal by the date of adding the news, not by the date of the last post?

Okay, i guess there is a specific forum where you add those news? So what you can do is.
Go to the forum permissions of that forum
General>Categories and Forums
Click on that forum name.
Sort topics by : Select Topic's Creation Date(Most oLdest in first)
See if that helps.
