transfering domain to external hosting company
Hi there!
I have a few questions about external domain!
I have bought a domain name through forumation and now i'm thinking to host it with other company! as i understood in need Typlos' help about DNS configuration or smth. but the main question is, will my existing forum will be aviable in time while i transfer all posts and users to the new data base!
and yes it can be done, there was a tutorial how to transfer posts, users and so on!

Re: transfering domain to external hosting company
You will just be able to transfer the domain name. You need to PM typlo regarding this as you already know. He is the only one who can help.
The Posts & Users can't be transferred to a new database. Forumotion does not allow this.

that tutorial is written but a member and hasn't been approved by staff, we give no guarantee that it works.
Forumotion has closed access to databases to increase security. I don't believe Typlo will give you access to MySQL data ... many others have tried.

If you don't delete your forum, it would still be there.
