Moving a forum.

Currently my clan has a forum on forumotion but we may be moving to another site (A friend of mine owns a hosting site and owes me a favor) the clan leader and I were just wondering whether it is possible to get a backup of the forum so we could move it without losing anything. So is it possible?

I don't think forums are like "files" its not disposable and can't be moved from its data base to another.

Yes I know but database backups are made all the time on other forums I go on which makes me think there is a way.

As in the link doggyhse provided, Forumotion keeps the databases private. You, nor any other member or administrator with an FM board will have access to them.

To add, I personally think they should be able to keep them; they're providing us with free hosting!
