CSS code reseting Empty CSS code reseting

Post by -Smile March 1st 2009, 7:19 pm

Hi I was editing my forum and it wasn't working. The image I put in didn't show up so I had a search of the forums and saw something about the CSS code. I edited it a bit but it didn't work and now I have an error
Detected error. We have counted a different number of "{" and of "}". It means your CSS risks to be not valid and will not be posted correctly on your forum. We advise you to reread your code..
Is there any way to get the CSS code back to default?

Oh and if anyone knows, how come even though I have changed my pics to CSS code reseting Picture1-35 is it still like CSS code reseting Picture2-18?

In admin panel >>display>>colors>>CSS stylesheet
select all with right mouse click and delete then save
then re-instal the skin you want and save, this should
correct the Css errors some theme stylesheets wont
acknowledge changes in the pics unless they are in
the stylesheet code ...you have to look in the Css code
and change them there Smile

The best way to reset the CSS is

1. Navigate to

Admin Panel\Display\Colors\CSS Stylesheet

2. Select "No" for "Deactivate the basic CSS"

3. Press "Save"

4. Clear All data from the Box and press "Submit"

To re edit everything

5. Select "Yes" for "Deactivate the basic CSS"

6. Press "Save"

7. Select the "See your forum basic CSS" and copy the CSS into the empty box

8. Press "Submit" and start editing Smile

In future if you have any issues with the CSS simply follow steps 4-7 Smile
