You can do this very easily
You need to learn CSS

Only phpbb2 can edit your footer link without paying any price. But in other version you must buy the template for you to edit your footer link.

phpbb3 doesn't have template edit even if you want to pay for it. And you can't do that with CSS, because the link is click-able.

This is not possible unless your in (Forum version) PHPBB2.

Is your forum's version PHPBB2?

I know how to type text with CSS but don't know how to make them clickable and selectable.

You can't type text with css, you can only put an image there. And it's a secret within my forum.

I didn't use template editing. I'm using phpbb3 which doesn't have template editing.

If you're using phpbb2, Follow this:
Admin panel >> Display (tab) >> Scroll to TEMPLATES > Click on General > go to overall_footer>> Edit as you want.

You can't do that. That footer is not allowed and will result in your forum being deleted. You MUST provide a link back to Forumotion and PhpBB.

You don't need any codes. Just edit it in overall_footer.

Ok I edited it in the overall footer, then I saved it to how I wanted it to look etc. But it doesn't seem to be showing up and it's just showing the default template. Any ideas my template isn't working?

The founding account HAS to approve it too

I'm the founding account though!?!

You have to click to publish what you've edited.
