I've noticed on just a few boards that on the homepage you can see the last post info, including what topic was replied to...how does that work and where in the Admin PC can I find out how to add it??

Did that make sense?

I'm not sure if this is what you want. Go to Display>> Structure and hierarchy>> Hierarchy>> Show the last topic titles on index>> Yes.
