New Update...

First topic message reminder :

Great news it looks like the new update is about to happen

Forumotion and its team are pleased to unveil a sneak preview of some of the features that will be implemented with this update:

- An advanced profile

- A "Flood control"

- Multi-quote

- "Thanks" button

- Login pop-up

It looks like its going to be a good one

and there looks to be more

The features mentioned above are just a small taste ... the best was kept for the update.

Can't wait

I know - Although I do think the majority of features are actually existing phpbb2 mods only modified.

Lol, I'm sure of it. Users ask the same question over and over again every so months about when the new update will come. I have a definite feeling it's coming again.

For instance

1/ Hey, how do I add the thanks button?

2/ I've been wanting to add the thanks button, how do I do it?

3/ How upload thanks picture (Someone from a different country)

4/ Upload thanks (Someone who is being smart)

are they for all board versions?

I think it will be. The only board with unique features is Invision, so if it's not for all the forums, it will be for Invision.

Cash mod is the big pay off here..... Also, a arcade system with multi players and high scores would be a gram slam to boot! I’m betting on the Cash mod with a shop system!

If the Admin feels if the poster is spaming for cash....he can delete his cash after a warning. Whats so hard about that?

Remember I do know whats in the update, but not as much as drag, but more than here

I know me and and placehold are already pampering our fingers,

I was wondering why Placehold wasn't here much

I bet those with lots of code knowledge will be like, a kid at an amusement park (Thats been hyped up with tonnes of sugar) with this update


I am one of those that are really appreciating this update, because as MrMario has said, it takes A LOT of work to get such a complex code working.
Especially the Advanced profile, and two of the other thing's.
I'm waiting, and anticipating for these within the next week or so.
Would be best to release this on the 26th of march, as a b'day present for me, but I don't mind if its not.

getting a custom bbcode mode or an attachment feature (with credits) are more interesting rather than cash mod imo.

special message for typlo: hmm i was thinking that there are many technician about whom we don't know anythin so could they pls come here so we can all thank them for this... obviously we all end up saying thanks typlo..or thanks to forumotion... but this time around since the updates are huge... anyways the thanks button is also good...and not much there to talk about...but if this is the preview ...forumotion has indeed impressed me this time ....GO GO FORUMOTION!!! YAY!!

The thanks button and reputation system has been applied to our forums BUT there are a few errors. Certain things in my forum are out of place. My personalized profile is not showing! What is going on? I hope this gets fixed soon!

yeah ..its maybe because they are applyin it now..

Anyways the wait is finally over!

this update had many trouble, can't + EXP, add a frofile is many many many difficult, when you added it, you will not repair because it's very difficult. Can't see the thanks button, can't click the multi-quote button, mem's frofile of my forum has confusion =*=
