Lee Tamotsu wrote:Ok I'm going to assume this is a problem related to the updates. Even though it recently happened, I have neither touched anything or did anything to the site. I'm the only Admin there.

It claims that people last visited several hours ago, but are still online. So when they post. Instead of saying posted at 8:20, it will say posted at 7:20. It's kind messing up the posts as sooner or later I'm sure they will be automatically moved to fit that time description in the thread.

    http://avatarrp.aforumfree.com/avatar-rp-filler-f21/amber-beach-t108-30.htm#3451

    http://avatarrp.aforumfree.com/the-plains-f19/the-uncertain-future-that-awaits-t94-300.htm#3452

As you can see in the two links provided from the bottom. They are threads where the time was out of order. I don't know how serious of a problem that is and why it is happening. I just assumed it might be due to the updates. Sorry if I'm wrong.

I have some extra things to add to what I noticed about my site. I'm using FireFox so it looks fine. Though when I used IE the site was very disorganized. Everything was jumbled together.

New posts are also not evident. It shows some but misses most. I noticed this recently and a lot of members have complained about it. I can't blame them either.

I don't know how this site looks on Safari or any other well used internet provider.

If someone has IE could they verify if the site is all jumbled and squeezed together in the middle? Thanks in advance.

I also agree with what the others have said. This isn't very effective as this place is going to be flooded by mass posts of problems. Those who asked first might not even get answered.

    Forum: http://www.galaxygui.com/
    Version: phpbb2
    Browser: Firefox and Google Chrome

Issue: The joined dates in the members list and profiles in messages are showing up in the forum "09-03-2009" when I have it globally set to be shown as "March 29, 2009". It shows up properly on the messages, but not in the joined date.

I'm also having a problem with CSS, I can't remove underline from links. I have it set to "no decoration" in CSS, but all links still are underlined upon rollover/hover.

I HAD a profile field that was html - I had medals I would award members for certain things. Now I am unable to change that field as it is now a TEXT ONLY FIELD. BRING BACK the html field. I have 900+ members and they are all screwed up.

So um, we have no html field any longer. Is this the intention?
I need this, as my members acquired different medals. (images) Half of them show up for my members, the other half of my members just have the raw html code for the images showing up.

So um, we have no html field any longer. Is this the intention?
This requires a simple yes or no answer. Of which, I have yet to receive.

For security purposes, HTML has been disabled for personnalized profiles.

I found I had that with K-Meleon, but it seems to work ok on Firefox.

When I want to reply on this forum here, I cannot use K-Meleon, there seems to be a problem, so have to use a different browser, can read ok, something is up, not sure what, though.

AND THIS IS A HELP FORUM!????
Sorry but seems that your "help" isn't helping anyone.

I noticed that the problems are only on phpBB2, on phpBB3 is everything fine. I'm asking for main admins to solve that problem, or to turn the forums back like it was, without updates.

I think that those updates aren't worth of all other problems.

    So turn it back!

i've only applied the scrolling announcements yesterday, or the day before that, but now i'm not that sure, anyway.

the advance profiles now look like this

the avatars turned out not being re-sized at all, it was just fine before then, but now its like that, over lapping and stuff, and some say that most parts of the forums are in red, i dont have a screen cap, but our forum as you can see from the image above is no where near red, and it also started from when i applied the scrolling announcements.

I'm sure they are working as quickly as they can to fix these issues. Personally, I will wait for the fixes. I don't want them to turn the forums back.

If you don't like all that the update has available for you, you can always turn those options off. Or, if I'm not mistaken, you do have the option of doing a backup.

That's just my humble opinion. Smile
