Ability to Hide Posts

Hi there, if there's a way to do this then I haven't seen it.

It would be great if a moderator (or administrator) could HIDE a post, not "delete" it. Once it's deleted its gone from the database and there's no way of tracking it. We're getting around that on my forum by going to moderate forum, splitting the thread and selected the 'bad' posts and moving them to a new topic in the basket. That's a lot of work! Is there some way we could get a "hide post" option for moderators and administrators that would hide the bad posts from the regular users and still leave them in the thread?

Nopes, this is not possible. You can suggest it in the correct suggestion section of this forum.

Thanks, I saw that after I made my thread. I'm honestly pretty shocked this feature isn't here yet because it's so important.
