I can't seem to be able to "promote" my Forum

I go to start a topic to "promote" my forum and I get this:

on this link you have o post it first so a staff member can aproove it.

Seriously, what?

you dont have permissions granted to that board.
you have to be added to the group that have access to the section.
pm a mod or admin and ask how you can be granted access to the section.

Obviously your not a admin or staff ware you are seeing this come up.
unless your a mod and the board is only for admins. it's all in the permissions for the board/forum that it is.

Aw Jeez, I took one look at the approval thread and gave up. I'd rather just advertise some other way.
