Problem with category and forum.

Hi guys!!
I just made a category inside a forum but that category is displayed below that forum's topics. Iwant to make it appear above that topic. Please help me out.

I'm sorry, but we cannot put a forum above a category, unless its in a category above it

nope, i want to put that category above that topics or else tell me a way 2 create a forum inside a category.

to make a forum inside a category:

Ok, when you set a new category/forum, after you have clicked the "make new" button, where it says "category or forum" click "category"

Do as it has there, make sure you tick the box that says "add a forum to this category"
Save.

Now it will pop up asking you to make the forum.

Scroll down a tad, and name it and fill in what is necessary that it shows, then save again.

That should make a forum, inside a category (Inside = below)

The way your friend has it has his/her forum, is that they have a sub forum, then the main forum.

what link should i click? and also another problem that sub-forum's name is displayed under announcements forum.

yes , its a forumotion forum. You look , in this site also there are sub forums in forums, but they are displayed at the top but it's not coming for my forum. In my site, its displayed at da bottom.

Make it a subforum of that forum.

That depends on the skin you are using, no way to change that.
