Make Portal as homepage.

I want to make portal as homepage such that when user logs in then the page displayed should be portal page , Friends , how to do this, please help.

Well, I know it how ou can do it, but it is stuck in my head

The user can do it thought, by saving this into their link options page (when they type a url, the link will appear; to do this they have to visit this page many times)

Let us suppose the forum is http://forum_link.forumotion.net
When user types "http://forum_link.forumotion.net" then it opens portal.htm page when users has not login but it opens its own homepage when the user logs in.

But I want portal.htm to be displayed after users log in.

Redirecting will also help in this case, How to redirect original homepage to portal.
