Solved Use of an mp3 player

Post by Universal Master8k April 16th 2009, 10:48 pm

Hello,

I'm just wondering how you install an mp3 player to your forum and how to place music in it.

Thanks.

www.playlist.com

sign up
add music to your player
get the HTML code and post it on the welcome message on your forum

and even after you post the html code you can contiue placing songs on the mp3 player without having to generate a new code

hope this helps

You can use the method that ZX posted, but also If you wanted it to be hidden and were ok with it only playing one song on your homepage, then you could insert a html code into your homepage generalities. But, the playlist is MUCH easier to use.

You can put it in:
Homepage message: Administration Panel=>Display=>Homepage=>Generalities=>Homepage message.
In one widget: Administration Panel=>Modules=>Forum widgets management=>Create a custom block.
Or in your portal: Administration Panel=>Modules=>Portal management=>Structure=>Create a custom block.
Regards!

Awesome! This will work perfect with my forum. My final question is, where on www.playlist.com is the HTML code that I'm meant to input?

Here is where you get the code for the playlist:

http://www.playlist.com/playlist/get_code

You will see at the bottom of the list E, is the one to click on, you then need to log in or register and it should then give you the code.
