portal pages?

portal pages? Empty portal pages?

what does adding pages to the portal do exactly...ive added another page and put on widgets etc and clicked save, but on my site there is no difference...
or what have i done wrong?

Did you activate the Portal?

Admin Panel>>Modules Tab>>Under Portal & Widgets>>Click on Portal Mangentment>>Look for Show the portal :>>Click Yes>>Save

its on yes, i can see the portal BUT nothing changes when i move the widgets

yes mr mario, i have a portal page showing on my site.....but i wanted to add another page to it. i have clicked on add page then clicked structure...i have added widgets to where i want then and clicked save, when i go back to my site there is no difference but in my admin panel it shows up portal as having two pages...?
any thoughts please?

only one portal page can be displayed at a time i believe... and to use your portal page click on define as default . to add other pages you have to go Admin panel>>>Modules >>>HTML pages.. make your page and submit then copy the link to your forum where you want ppl to see the link to the page or just add it to the header navigation.

i did that, i tried to post a shoutbox. but it doesnt appear on the portal. I put the widget in the portal but it still doesnt work... bwi

did you save that page after you put your widgets in placed?
and do you have a html page set as the home page ??
