Adding a Facebook Link in profiles

Hi

I have had a request from my members to be able to add a facebook link in profiles

I have tried changing the ICQ spot to facebook.. but doesnt seem to save in the user profile when updated

is there anyway that facebook could be added to the list with with msn, icq, skype
etc... I am sure that there is a simple way of telling me how to do this.. would be appreciated...

You could suggest it, i don't think its currently possible.

There isnt a point anyway. I mean on facebook all you have to do is search the name of the person to find them. On there profile you could make a field which asks for the full name. So then they could search facebook.

I thought you were saying something like a profile icon or something of that sort.

Well the question was how to make a contact LinkYes, one could just make a reg. text field for the profiles.
type: text field
Icon and text display
who can modify: member

But for the contact fields with an active button...it isn't going to work.
the yahoo redirects to yahoo IM, ICQ to Icq etc.
To make a new contact field none of the options for "TYPE" work.
