Forum email accounts

Hi all the forum lets us make up to 10 email acounts, i have made them for my mods and whlile setting them up it asks me for passwords for each one. I have set up these accounts and sent them to my mods but they are asking how to change there password to there own.
How do they do this please.

There is no way as far as i know only admin can change the passwords

the can change there password in the profile information settings.as far as the ten email thing your saying? i'm a lil confused with that.but what ever they case they can change there pass in there profile info setting. they just have to know the old one and be logged in under the user name and pass you created.

Im talking about the mail box mate not the email they signed on with.
Each forum gets 10 mail box to set up a email account from there own forum. I have set these emails up with a password but the users need there own password or admin could read all there email.

Oh wow i was unaware that we had the option for mailboxes. just hang tight i'm sure a staff member or member that is more familiar with this can help you. it's new to me.

Such a pity I don't have customized domain address' for any of my forums

However, as an assumption:

They should have an option in their account, called "preferences" or something similar, and under that option (if its not there, go fishing lol!

) there should be something called "Password" Change it there.

Otherwise, Dezza, Dazza returns to your forum loul

Dazza i think the board is set to have passwords for mail box set by admin only i cant find a way to get them to have there own password buddy.

I think its a security setting. Im not sure, I will ask Typlo if you like.

On top of this, you need to have a Domain Name, and after that you get your 10 free email account's Wink

Hi, in order to get to the mailbox setup, I think we need to register the domain via Forumotion otherwise the feature won't work. Domain registration via external company cannot enjoy the feature.
