I Can't Sticky, At All

I've looked through some of the 'sticky' problems and have tried to solve this problem, but I can't make a topic a sticky. Can anyone help shed some light on this problem?

Well, are you an Admin on this forum ?
'Cuz, if you are a Mod or Global Mod ( Or whatever you entitled it ), then they can't sticky threads.

have you opened the bar that says "Options" yet....because thats where the option to sticky is

Then it will be useful if your try seperating the sticky and announcement from the other post of your members, by doing this:

admin panel>general>"Configuration" under "Messages and Emails">look for "Separate annoucements and stickies from the messages" then setting it to "With a table">then save it.

Another thing, as darren1 said to you when you make a post, scroll down a little bit an open the "Option" tab then select sticky to make your post as Sticky Notes.

I am an Amdin, I can see the options bar, but it won't open. I tried saving "With a table", but I still have the same problem.

Can you edit a post?

If so, scroll to the bottom of the post, and under the Preview and Send buttons there should be the options:
Disable HTML
"" BBCodes
"" Smilies
Delete post

And the next line should be:

Post topic as: Normal Sticky Announcement

I can edit. At the bottom under the Preview and Send buttons, there isn't anything that says :
Disable HTML
"" BBCodes
"" Smilies
Delete post
All that's there is 3 bars, one that says options, ones says calendar and one says add a poll. I can't open anything on these bars.

That seems to be a problem with the skin, you might want to change the skin & see.

Be sure you have the plus sign on the right hand side clicked off on the options under the subject board.

The problem was the skin. I changed it and all is working well.

Darren, I remembered one more user having a similar issue, which was solved by changing the skin.
Since this thread appears to be solved, I will lock this thread and mark it as solved.
