Slight 'out of position' problem ! Empty Slight 'out of position' problem !

Post by tez May 5th 2009, 12:40 pm

On some of the threads that have been created that contain quite a lot of 'thumbnail's on which the member can click to view the full picture, The ' Home Free forums | ©️ phpBB | Free forum support | ' text that appears at the bottom of the screen, has started to appear halfway up the screen, through the 'images', is there any easy way I can rectify this?

Many thanks !

this is a strange lil glitch or something? i never seen it happen befor.
you can try changing the skin and then changing it back again or possibly resyncronizing your forum?

lets wait and see what other members or staff think first though?
but yea it should not be there. and this is appearing for all members and is in more then one thread like that?

https://www.forumotion.com/en/utils/

other then that it might be a skin issue?

To be honest Kirk, i hadn't noticed it before, it was another member who pointed it out, so it could have happening right from the start. It would be a shame if I had to change the skin, coz I quite like this one ! Very Happy

well did you add any of your own buttons or icons?
if not just change the skin and you can always go back to the one you have now and see if it changes.

or how about this. tell me witch skin it is you have now or the link to it and i'll try it on my test forum and see if i get the same thing

Yeah, I see it happened on yours as well! Sometimes it just moves a little bit from the bottom of the screen, other times it's straight through the pics like this !! I'll try a different skin, and let you know Kirk !! Many, many thanks for your assistance !! Very Happy

what the????
for one the pic's are not even in the same order for you as they are for me?
Slight 'out of position' problem ! Th_31519_1-silk-blue-background099876_122_621lo

and look at the bottom of my screen. thats how it should be.
Slight 'out of position' problem ! Th_31600_1-silk-blue-background3232324_122_247lo

so i dont know man that's wacky?do you have forum widgets going through the whole forum? that could be causing it to go out of whack too?
um?i'm going to have to set up my quick reply like you have it and see if that makes a difference.

i dont have time right now.but lets see if theres any other members or staff that might have a few ideas what can be causing this. it's very odd that it appears to be fine for me but not you.

and even if you had widgets on your forum why is it showing up like that for you on mine?

yea but like i'm saying. you see how it's appearing for me. so why would that do it to you. i could see if this was something with your forum.but as you see for mine it appears normal on my end but not for you.

so i'm stumped. i'm going to have to ask a few friends and see if they have any ideas.
whats your computer smoking..LMAO Razz is it running hot or something may be give it a rest or something? AND you said this happens to other members too? give them my link and see if it dose it to them there too?

i'll see what i can try to find out. i'm lost and stumped all together at this moment.
but will try latter to see if we can get some kind of conclusion on this.

i mean even if it were some kind of html or css error on your forum it should not be appearing like that to you on my forum. not when it's not looking that way for me?
