Members not receiving pm's

Hi,
It would seem that at certain times of the day (or night) neither myself or my members are receiving our personal messages.We are all getting email notification , but when we go to our inboxes, there is nothing there. This doesnt happen all the time, sometimes it is fine.
Can you please help. We are all activated in admin to recieve pm's, and like i said sometimes we do get them.

No problem is detected in pm's !!

know that if you send pm, an automatic email is sent to the member notifying him of the reception of the pm. if your messages box is full and you decided to delate messages befor that the member read the pm's you send, he will never receive it, but he will have the notification email !!

I have notified the members of this, and we have all still not been receiving messages, so it's not that, i personally cleared all of my inbox, sent items, outboxe before i sent anymore pm's but its still doing the same.
Any ideas, as people are getting pretty annoyed with it!

It would seem, that most of the time, we are receiving pm's when the members concerned are online on the forum, if the recipient isn't online, then the pm isn't received.
This is driving me mad!

it doesn't make any sense!!..no relation actually between being online and getting the PM...if u made sure that there are enough spaces in your boxes for receiving PMs then maybe u need a techy now...we just wait until a moderator here forwards your topic to the tech section

There is definately a connection, my pm's are sending if myself and the recipient are online at the same time, if the recipient goes offline the pm doesnt get to them! It stays in my outbox, then just doesnt send!
