    At my forum, we call profile messages "Visitor Messages" .
    Is there any way to create a new button that allows you to post a visitor message and says "New VM"?

    Yes.

    ACP=>Display Tab=>Pictures and Colors=>Pics management=>ADvanced Mode=>Buttons=>Post new topic=>Change link=>Save
