chatbox question

Hello,
I was wondering if there was a way to make the chatbox just leave people who enter it in until they log off the site? As of now it boots them in a very short time period if they're not constantly typing.


Also, I'm trying to get rid of or change this image that shows up on the bottom of the page. It appears to be a background image linked in, but is not the actual background image in the administrative settings.
Here's the link I found that leads to the image showing up at the bottom of the forum.
