This is my first time making "gel" styled ranks. Didn't even look at a tutorial...so... Tell me what's wrong or if they are good.

Not bad, I would add some outer glow to the words (darker color like a darker teal or blue) to make them more...revealing and better looking.

I don't really think this is the best creation from you, but they are great. However, the font is hard to see. Good job though.

Well, as I said, I've never made anything with this style (and I created it without a tutorial)... I still have a number of years before I'm considered "professional." So, I can only get better and learn from my mistakes. Very Happy

Hmm... Do you think screen resolutions have anything to do with the text..? To me it looks perfectly fine... I don't know...

The font is Arial Bold, so I don't really understand why you don't like it, Fear...

I'm going to continue making buttons until I get them perfect...

Well. I think that you should have used another color, and maybe another font. It is harder ot read.
