Portal and forums too wide for smaller monitors Empty Portal and forums too wide for smaller monitors

i tried searching for this question but can't find the answer im looking for. My problem is that my forumotion site fits perfectly on my monitor. But I happen to have a 22inch wide screen monitor. When i'm at working using the smaller 15 inch monitor, half my site needs to be scrolled over to the side to view it. How do i make my site automatically adjust size to the monitor one is using to view with? i see web sites do that all the time, why should mine be any different? At one time i did have my page narrow enough to fit on a 15 inch monitor but then anyone using a 15 inch or bigger had massive blank space to the left and right. I can't figure it out, please help me. My site is www.pheardomo.net

Just a thought, last night i narrowed the site enough to fit perfectly on my laptop with a 15inch monitor, but at work on their 15inch monitors the screen is too wide. Work computers are still running IE 6.0 and perhaps the outdated browser as something to do with not being able to adjust the size properly. if any of you have a 15 inch monitor could you let me know if my site fits on your screen?

You would have to go into the CSS to edit the size of the forum for resulutions.

Heres what i have it set to Left-20% Middle-55% Right-15% total=90%

This is the size I had to get it down to to fit on a 15inch widescreen on my laptop. But when I accessed my site with a 15 non-widescreen it doesnt fit on the screen and you have to scroll to the right to see everything. I don't see why it just cant auto adjust to ppl's monitor, why must I look at my site in every monitor size ever made just to see if it fits? And if I change the width to fit on a 15inch non widescreen monitor then on a bigger monitor i have so much empty space on the sides its a waste.
