making background transparent

can any one make the "white" background on this image transparent i was going to use it as a rank but i dont know how to make it transparent/transluecent

You can use iaza.com to add tranparency to your images. just upload your image to it, and then click the "transparent" link. Then simply click an area of white, and it will turn all white on the image transparent.
